Here I sit awake again
At oh 1:30 A M

Can’t sleep for the pain
Am about to go insane

Thought I’d write a line
Say what’s on my mind

Won’t make no sense
Cause I’m so tense

But thought I’d try
Then go look at the sky

Soon the meds’ll kick in
Just don’t know when

Then I’ll be a bit groggy
Mind fuzzy and foggy

Walk down the hall
Tryin not to fall

Lookin for a cool drink
That’ll help me think

Yeah write a thought
Not even if bought

In the shape I’m in
My head would spin

Going to go for now
Need sleep somehow

So tomorrow we’ll see
If anyone read meeeeeeee
